What is Telehealth?
Telehealth allows patients to be seen by an online doctor or healthcare provider from anywhere, including nursing/assisted living facilities, or from the comfort of your own home. Being seen by an online doctor or healthcare provider benefits you and others — especially during the coronavirus outbreak — as it allows you to receive immediate care from a healthcare professional without needing to visit a public healthcare facility. Whether you’re dealing with the flu, common cold, or some other minor illness, staying inside is the best way to ensure you don’t infect others or put yourself at risk for catching the coronavirus.
How much is a Telehealth visit?
At this time most insurance plans are covering telehealth visits. We will submit the encounter to your insurance company and allow them to process the claim. Applicable deductibles and copayments may be required in the future depending on your plan’s benefits. Please allow enough time until your insurance has processed your claim and you have received your EOB (explanation of benefits).
